Dave will read the Christmas story and Zach has prepared some Christmas carols for us the night will be so special. I will update later this week to finish up this holiday season. Merry Christmas Everyone!

Big Event

Ok so Friday Started the Big Event Adventure to the mountains. Jamie, Dona, Jeny and Deni went up early that afternoon to set up for the weekend. They took up all the food and luggage and to get the lay of the land. After everything was set up it was time to head back over the pass for the annual gift exchange after the gift exchange the Nuber clan followed the Tindall + one Jovonavich clan back up the mountain arriving around midnight. Everyone quickly unloaded the rest of the stuff and got into bed around 2:00. The next morning everyone got up and the festivity's began. Dave hooked up the Xbox to prepare for the Rockband Concert that was to happen that evening. Then everyone packed on the snow gear and packed into the Suburban to head for the sledding hills. After freezing cold sledding (Carson was the only one who lasted more than 10 minutes) we headed back home to get warm and have some lunch. while waiting for Zach to arrive, games were pulled out and played off and on the rest of the weekend. We had great meals and even a craft time of Graham Cracker Houses. Sunday Jamie rented two snowmobiles for us to ride for the day. So much fun the kids loved it. Dave and Zach took a 13 mile trail and loved every minute of it. Monday came quickly and even though it was sad to pack up and head home there was still some shopping to do so we had a big breakfast and packed up. We had a great time and loved every minute of it. THANKS BIG BOB FOR PLANNING SUCH A GREAT BIG EVENT! WE LOVE YOU!!

Catch up!

OK, so I know its been awhile I'm sorry but here is the latest scoop. Skit night was canceled because Zach had to work late and the kids got sick so the rest of us ate dinner together and played a little game of holiday charades. Then Thursday night we went to see Tayte's Christmas program at her preschool sooooo cute. Friday night was Taco night and we decided to do some more holiday charades lots of laughing. The kids were great at charades.

Yesterday we had a craft day to make decorations for the Big Event. We all were told to bring an appetizer then we ate and crafted for about four hours then we all sat down and watched a Christmas movie together.

The next event is the Big one, we are going to stay in a cabin in the mountains for the weekend. friday night after the family gift exchange we will head up and we will come home monday. i will let you know how it goes it should be full of fun and games.

Our First Meeting

Last night we started the evening with a big family dinner then it was time for the meeting 7:15 sharp we walked into the official meeting room (the living room) and the voting for positions started immediately. Jamie was voted president, Dave with assistant Macy was voted Craft Master, Dona with assistant Tayte was voted Secretary, Deni with assistant Carson was voted Sargent of arms, and I was voted communications officer. after positions were given the seriousness or lack there of began. We each had calendars to fill in as we talked about the days that were already bad for people or when we had a great break though of an idea for a night activity. so far we have craft nights, light looking, kids programs to go to and so much more. the best part of the evening is when we all throw out ideas and the get shot down right away by Big Bob (Jamie) and everyone busts into a roar of laughter. the other thing i forgot to mention was that Jamie gave everyone member cards with there number and given name as well as there real name. so funny but very official. our first kickoff event is Sunday at 2:00 to get our Christmas trees. I will keep you filled in.

The First CTPCOA

Hello Friends welcome to CTPCOA. I would like to explain how we got started only 7 Christmas's ago. We in the aerospace business took a fall after 9-11 so Christmas was going to be hard that year. Jamie Tindall (President of CTPCOA) called his family into the living room. Now this being the first family meeting ever the girls (Jeny & Deni)were a little nervous but when he started to explain what was going to happen over the next month things got a lot better or you could say they got a lot less serious, with all the laughing that happened that night its a wonder they got anything done. Jamie told Dona, Jeny and Deni that they were going to split the month up between the four of them, they would each plan an event for that night. they could have a craft time, movie time, spiritual time, or an outside activity. also he though in a twist they each were given numbers and a calender on that calender each day was labeled with a persons number they were planing that day but also there was another number that person had to give the person planing the day a gift something under $5. as the month went on they had more fun family time than they had, had in years the fact that money was tight wasn't important but the family time was. CTPCOA helped us become a closer family and also realise more of what the Christmas season should be. as the years have gone by things have changed a bit we have added a few members to our family and we don't do as many days of the week. the spirit of Christmas is still the reason we celebrate with each other. this year we would like to share our Christmas with you and your families and hope that we will inspire you to try something new with your family like we did. Our first meeting is tomorrow night i will tell you all about it tomorrow.
